Christmas in Stanley 2023

Saturday 9th December 10:30am – 12:30pm
Coffee morning at St Peter’s Church with refreshments, bacon butties, raffle, tombola, jigsaws and more! Everyone welcome!

Sunday 10th December 10am
St Nicholas Family Service: Santa needs help to collect presents for children in need! Come to our café-style family service with children’s activities and Santa visit, and bring a gift for the Salvation Army to distribute. Gifts should be brand new and UNWRAPPED.

Sunday 10th December 3pm
Stanley Community Singers Christmas Concert at St Peter’s Church. Join our local choir for an enjoyable afternoon concert of festive songs and singalong carols, followed by refreshments. Please buy your tickets on the door: £4 adults, 50p children.

Sunday 17th December 6pm
Carol service by candlelight with traditional carols and Bible readings.
After two years of Carols in the car park, we welcome you back to the warmth of the building and our carol service by candlelight!

Sunday 24th December 2pm
Christmas Eve Crib service: a very popular service for all ages at St Peter’s Church, with carols, dressing up, crafts and refreshments.

Sunday 24th December 11pm
Christmas Eve Communion Services: join us at 11pm at St Peter’s Church for a traditional communion service to welcome Christmas Day.

Monday 25th December 10am
Christmas Day family service to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
